Arosa Gay Ski Week
The Arosa Gay Ski Week is postponing its 2021 edition until 2022.
Due to the COVID-19 situation and as a result of the measures taken by the Federal Council as well as various international regulations, the Arosa Gay Ski Week is unfortunately forced to cancel the 2021 edition, which was planned from 23rd to 30th January.
Arosa, October 9, 2020
After extensive discussions with its partners and team members, the organization has decided to postpone the event to January 2022, considering the current situation of insecurity and the various health measures due to the pandemic, which will not allow a satisfying program in January 2021. The safety of our guests has always been paramount and we wouldn’t like to expose anyone during an event.
Indeed, besides the financial risk for our non-profit organization, the Arosa Gay Ski Week is an LGBTQ+ event with many loyal regulars as well as new participants, from more than 30 countries. What makes our week unique is the opportunity to meet, socialize and have fun during the many events on offer, in addition to the winter sports activities.
We do have some good news however!
The ski season 2020/21 will start as planned in the Swiss resorts at the beginning of December in compliance with all health and safety measures. All of our partner hotels will be open and prepared to welcome guests wishing to ski or snowboard on the slopes of Arosa & Lenzerheide. We have therefore prepared packages for our regular guests, including hotel rooms and ski passes at the best possible rates. Bookings can be made on our website (scroll down). For peace of mind, all bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 15 days prior to arrival, and all payments will be 100% refunded.
While we look forward to seeing all our regular guests and new participants in 2022, the Arosa Gay Ski Week team wishes you a safe and happy 2021 winter season.

Arosa has always been a gay friendly destination. The rainbow flag flies proudly in the centre of the town all winter, not just during our gay ski week. Our guests flock together from all over the world (30 countries and counting) and of all ages. The possibilities to make new friends are endless, all in a relaxed pressure free environment. The resort boasts some of the friendliest staff around and we are more than proud of our team and the service they provide. The Snow Hosts will be taking groups all week and guide you on the slopes to ensure that you have a fantastic time with us. After all, we want you to come back!
Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been attending for a while: you will have the opportunity to meet lesbians who want to share the fun of winter sports and the beauty of a charming mountain resort. Even if in the last years we didn’t have many lesbians joining, we hope that in the future a growing number of women will ski, mix and party with us. All our events during the week are mixed, but some are more geared towards lesbian tastes such as an evening organized in partnership with the Rainbow dancers from the TanzBAR in Bern. Some of our DJs and artists are lesbian and we offer ski guiding with women guides for those who enjoy skiing in a fully lesbian group. Whatever your mood of the day, you will certainly have fun during the week!
