Arosa has always been a gay friendly destination. The rainbow flag flies proudly in the centre of the town all winter, not just during our gay ski week. Our guests flock together from all over the world (30 countries and counting) and of all ages. The possibilities to make new friends are endless, all in a relaxed pressure free environment. The resort boasts some of the friendliest staff around and we are more than proud of our team and the service they provide. The Snow Hosts will be taking groups all week and guide you on the slopes to ensure that you have a fantastic time with us. After all, we want you to come back!

Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been attending for a while: you will have the opportunity to meet lesbians who want to share the fun of winter sports and the beauty of a charming mountain resort. Even if in the last years we didn’t have many lesbians joining, we hope that in the future a growing number of women will ski, mix and party with us. All our events during the week are mixed, but some are more geared towards lesbian tastes such as an evening organized in partnership with the Rainbow dancers from the TanzBAR in Bern. Some of our DJs and artists are lesbian and we offer ski guiding with women guides for those who enjoy skiing in a fully lesbian group. Whatever your mood of the day, you will certainly have fun during the week!

Arosa is situated on a wide sunny plateau in the middle of the Swiss Alps at an altitude of about 1800 meters. The tradition-rich holiday resort is easily accessible by road or train with quick and hourly transfers from Zurich Airport. Find out more about how you travel to Arosa by scrolling down the page to access.

The winter sports region of Arosa Lenzerheide offers one of the biggest and most accessible ski areas in Switzerland. There is over 225 km of runs spread over two beautiful valleys with three sunny sides, as well as a 50 km freeride area and a fun snow park for you to enjoy. Arosa’s skiing has a modern and well-designed lift system: 43 transport facilities will take you to altitudes of up to 2865 m a.s.l. The trail network, largely above the treeline, is crowned by the Weisshorn and the Rothorn, from the top of which there are spectacular views all around. The slopes in the ski area are suitable for all levels of difficulty, whether you are a beginner or an outstanding skier. More information and slope report on www.arosalenzerheide.swiss
