Opened in 1905 as a sanatorium, the hotel has been rebuilt and altered several times during its history. In 1993 it was a founding member of the Association of "Design Hotels™" and since then it has consistently developed as a Lifestyle Hotel. Correspondingly, today the interior design and life in the hotel is so: modern, full of joie de vivre, a buzzy atmosphere and sincere hospitality.

Hotel Eden brought the Arosa Gay Skiweek to life in 2004. Today it is still the home base for the Arosa Gay Skiweek.
